Form 6A is issued by the Election Commission of India for Indian citizens who live outside India (NRI voters). If you are an Indian citizen staying abroad and want to add your name in the Indian voter list then you can fill out Form 6A. You can fill out the Form 6A Online by using the procedure mentioned below.
NRI Voter Form 6A - How to Apply Online?
STEP 1: Visit the CEO Voters’ Portal using the link voters.eci.gov.in
STEP 2: On the homepage click on “Form 6A” under New Voter Registration (NRI)
STEP 3: After clicking on that link you have to click on “Sign Up” button
STEP 4: Now enter the mobile number and captcha code then click on continue button
STEP 5: Then enter your First name and OTP received on your mobile to verify your profile and your user ID successfully created
STEP 6: Once your ID created you can login with your mobile number, password and OTP on the portal homepage.
STEP 7: Select Fill Form 6A from the New Registration for NRI.
STEP 8: Fill your personal details, family details, address, DOB, Aadhaar and contact info. Upload supporting documents and choose Preview and Submit.
STEP 9: Then you have to fill the declaration form and check everything once again and enter the captcha code to Submit your NRI Voter Form 6A request.

Form 6A PDF - Through Offline Process
STEP 1: Visit your nearest state election office and ask for Form 6 or directly download from the link giver below.
STEP 2: Fill the form with personal details, address and date of birth details.
STEP 3: If you submit the application to the ERO, you must bring a photocopy of the required passport pages. You also need to show your original passport to the officer for verification. The officer will check it and return the original passport to you immediately.
Track NRI Form 6A Application Status
After submitting Form 6A, NRI can check the application status online to know if their name is added to the voter list.
STEP 1 Open voters.eci.gov.in and login using your mobile number, password and OTP.
STEP 2 Select Track Application Status from the dashboard.
STEP 3 Enter your reference ID number and click on Submit button.
STEP 4 Your voter registration status will appear on the screen.
