Election Commission of India provides an online facility to check your voter ID card application status on its official website voters.eci.gov.in. This online service helps you track your application status, verify your details, and know whether your voter ID card is approved, under process, or dispatched.
By entering simple details like your reference number or registered mobile/email, you can easily check your card status.
How to Check Voter ID Card Status Online 2026
STEP 1: Firstly, visit the ECI voter portal at voters.eci.gov.in.
STEP 2: On the homepage, click on the "Login" button and enter your registered mobile number or email ID to sign in, as shown in the screenshot below.
STEP 3: After successfully login, you will find the "Track Application Status" as shown in below image.
STEP 4: On the next page, enter the "Reference Number" you received on your application form or complaint, as shown below.
STEP 5: Click on SUBMIT button and your application status will be displayed on the screen.

Track Voter ID Card Application Status on Voter Helpline App
STEP 1: Open the Voter Helpline App on your mobile phone.
STEP 2: On the homepage, tap on the “Track Application Status” option.
STEP 3: After submitting, your application status will be displayed on the screen, showing whether it is approved, pending, or under process.
