Seat Given to VCK in Alliance
Ozhukarai seat has been given to VCK as part of alliance sharing. This is the only seat where DMK will not field its own candidate.
VCK Position on Seat Sharing
VCK leader Thol. Thirumavalavan had earlier said the party would contest 3 seats independently in Puducherry. This has created confusion after DMK announced only one seat for VCK.
Now the main question is whether VCK will accept this one seat or contest more seats separately. Final clarity is expected by March 26, which is the last date for withdrawing nominations.
