LDF Manifesto 2026 for Kerala - Check Key Promises, Announcement and Download PDF

Left Democratic Front (LDF) released its election manifesto for the upcoming assembly Kerala election 2026. In this manifesto LDF has delivered a decade of bold, people-first reforms from free healthcare and 5 lakh homes to Hi-Tech classrooms and zero extreme poverty.

The manifesto is released in two parts. The first part lists 60 key points, and the second part explains them in detail.

  • Poverty Elimination: Plan to uplift around 5 lakh poorest families and eliminate poverty.
  • Elderly Care: Introduction of a comprehensive care model for the elderly and bedridden.
  • Student Support: Assured 60,000 campus placements and expanded skill training programs.
  • Youth Entrepreneurship: Interest-free loans and incubation support to encourage startups and job creation through Global Capability Centres.
  • Women Employment: Aim to increase women’s workforce participation to 50% with institutional support.
  • Back to Campus Programme: Institution-linked training to improve employability.
  • MGNREGA Protection: Commitment to continue the scheme with additional state funding and oppose any changes.
  • Industrial Growth: Target to raise manufacturing share to 16% by 2031 through industrial corridors and sectoral hubs.
  • Public Sector Expansion: Modernisation and expansion of public sector units to increase turnover.
  • Tourism Development: Plan to double tourist inflow by improving infrastructure, promoting new destinations, and encouraging responsible tourism.
