Kerala Assembly Election 2026, the United Democratic Front (UDF) secured a clear majority by winning 78 out of 140 seats and formed the new government in the state. Following the victory, V. D. Satheesan was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Kerala on 17 May 2026.
Along with him, 20 ministers also took oath as Cabinet Ministers during the swearing-in ceremony held in the presence of senior political leaders and officials.
