Trinamool Congress (TMC) party president Mamata Banerjee, released the TMC manifesto on Friday for the upcoming state elections. The West Bengal Assembly elections will take place in two phases — on April 23 and April 29. The votes will be counted on May 4.
The manifesto includes a ₹30,000 crore budget for agriculture, pucca houses and piped water for all, yearly health check-up camps, better school infrastructure, improved trade facilities, continued pensions, and plans to create seven new districts.

TMC Manifesto 2026 - Key Promises & Major Highlights
- Increased monthly aid for women: ₹1,500 (general) and ₹1,700 (reserved categories)
- ₹1,500 monthly allowance under Banglar Yuba-Sathi for unemployed youth (age 21–40) until they get a job
- Permanent concrete houses for every family in West Bengal
- ₹30,000 crore farm budget with support for farmers and special packages for landless farmers
- Plan to create 7 new districts and expand urban local bodies for better civic services
- Continued pension for senior citizens + expansion to include more beneficiaries
- Piped drinking water supply to every household
- Plan to make West Bengal a major trade hub in eastern India with better ports, roads, and a World Trade Centre
- Improved healthcare services at block and town levels (doorstep healthcare)
- Upgrading infrastructure of all state-run schools in West Bengal
