Election Commission will soon start the third phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Maharashtra and other remaining states. At present, the second phase of the revision process is underway in 12 states.
How to Fill SIR Form in Maharashtra
STEP 1:- First, get the Maharashtra SIR form from your local election office or BLO (Booth Level Officer), or download it from the official portal using the link given in this article.
STEP 2:- SIR (Enumeration) Form has three parts: Part 1 includes EPIC details and photo, Part 2 has family and address details, and Part 3 includes previous SIR details along with the declaration and verification.
Part 1 - EPIC Details and Photo
In this section you have to enter the EPIC number and paste the current photo of voter as shown below image.
Part 2 - Enter Family and Personal Details
In this section you have to the voter DOB, Aadhaar Number, Mobile No, Father & Mother name with EPIC as shown below screenshot.
Part 3 - Previous Details of Last SIR
In this section you have to enter the Details of Elector in Electoral Roll of the last SIR with Details of the Relative, whose name is given in previous column, in the last SIR as shown below image. For this you need Old SIR voter List 2002 Maharashtra
STEP 3:- After that you have to sign or give thumb impression in the declaration section.
STEP 4:- SIR Form Required Documents List - Attached the following required documents with SIR Form
- Any Identity Card/Pension Payment Order issued to a regular employee or pensioner of Central Government, State Government, or PSU
- Any Identity Card/Certificate/Document issued in India by Government, local authorities, Banks, Post Office, LIC, or PSUs before 01.07.1987
- Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority
- Passport
- Matriculation or Educational Certificate issued by recognized Boards/Universities
- Permanent Residence Certificate issued by the competent State authority
- Forest Rights Certificate
- OBC/SC/ST or any caste certificate issued by the competent authority
- National Register of Citizens (wherever applicable)
- Family Register prepared by State/Local authorities
- Land or house allotment certificate issued by the Government
- Aadhaar (as per Commission’s directions dated 09.09.2025)
- Extract of the Electoral Roll of Bihar SIR with reference to 01.07.2025
STEP 5:- Now you have to submit this form At the nearest Election Office / ERO office.
